Yann Benharouch Appointed to the Board of Vilnius CHP

Yann Benharouch, a Partner at Quaero Capital, has been appointed as a new member of the Board of UAB Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė (Vilnius CHP). He replaces Jonas Rimavičius, who until now served as a Management Board Member and CFO of AB Ignitis grupė.

The appointment follows the sale of a 49% stake in Vilnius CHP to the Quaero European Infrastructure Fund III, managed by Quaero Capital, which required electing a new representative of that shareholder to the company's Board.

The Board of Vilnius CHP now comprises three members: Chairman Mantas Mikalajūnas (representing AB Ignitis grupė), Yann Benharouch (representing Quaero Capital), and Independent Board Member Paul K. Dainora. The current term of the Board runs until 19 October 2027.

Yann Benharouch is a Partner at Quaero Capital and one of the founders, in 2015, of its infrastructure investment activity. Since then, Quaero Capital has raised more than EUR 2.7 billion for investments in essential European infrastructure, including renewable energy, transport, telecommunications, water, and public-private partnership (PPP) projects. He serves as Managing Director within the infrastructure activity and sits on the boards of several portfolio companies, providing strategic oversight and sector expertise.
